Funding our Band

Whether we like fundraising or not, the fact remains fundraising is the major source of financial support for the GMHS music programs- namely marching band. The $350 student band fee is less than 1/3 the actual cost per student for each marching band season. Where does the other 2/3 come from? FUNDRAISING.

Bingo - Pat Costello, chair

This will run Tuesday evenings at the Foothills Bingo Parlour (12364 W Alameda, Lakewood). This is a weekly commitment (year around) and requires 1-2 Licensed Games Managers, 1 Caller, 3 Adults and 8 students 14 and older.

The individual sections of the band will each take turns working. This way our younger members can support the band as well.

Grocery Certificates - Janelle New, chair

We offer King Soopers gift certificates. They work exactly like cash- you even get change back. They will be available at all band functions or you can call me to pick them up.

Upcoming Events

We will be doing other fundraisers as well: Butterbraid Sales, Poinsettia Sales, Chocolate Bar Sales. If you have any other possible ideas, please share them with anyone on the board.
